Establishment of Tai Hing

Tai Hing was founded in 1989. Among others, Mr. Chan Wing On and Mr. Yuen Chin Ming opened the first restaurant under “Tai Hing” brand in Sai Wan Ho, Hong Kong. Through years of hard work, Tai Hing Group has expanded from one standalone restaurant to a chain of over 200 restaurants under multiple brands, serving a variety of cuisines in Hong Kong, Mainland China and Macau, and at the same time adhering to the core value of delivering quality, authentic and great tasting food

    Develop New Brand

    Opened the Chinese marinade restaurant under “Lu Bistro" brand in Liwan, Hangzhou

    Opened a Thai cafe under “Tommy Yummy" brand in Central, Hong Kong

    Opened a Yakitori under “Tori Yoichi" brand in Central, Hong Kong

    Develop New Brand

    Opened the handmade dumpling restaurant under "Dumpling Station" brand in Kowloon Bay, Hong Kong

    Develop New Brand

    Opened the first Nostalgic Taiwanese cuisine Restaurant under the“Dao Cheng Taiwanese Restaurant”brand in Tsimshatsui, Hong Kong

    Opened the first Dim Sum and clay pot rice restaurant under "Dim Pot" brand in Hung Hom, Hong Kong

    Reaching New Milestones

    Tai Hing Group Holdings Limited was listed on Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on 13 June 2019 under the stock code 6811



    Develop New Brand

    Opened the first Leisure Bing Teng under the “King Fong Bing Teng” brand in Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong

     

    Opened the first Hainanese Chicken Rice Specialist under the “Asam Chicken Rice” brand in Central, Hong Kong

    Establish the Mainland China Food Factory

    Opened the Mainland China Food Factory in Dongguan, Mainland China



    Develop New Brand

    Opened the first canteen under the “Rice Rule” brand in Fo Tan, Hong Kong



    Awards and Accolades of Our Brand

    The “Trusty Congee King” restaurant in Wanchai, Hong Kong has been conferred the Michelin Guide Bib Gourmand award for 2 consecutive years in Michelin Guide Hong Kong Macau 2018 Selection and Michelin Guide Hong Kong Macau 2019 Selection

    Introduce the“Phở Lê” brand

    Opened our first Vietnamese restaurant under the “Phở Lê” brand in Kwun Tong, Hong Kong



  • 2016

    Expand Our Brand Portfolio

    Opened the first restaurant under the “Trusty Congee King” brand in Mainland China
    Acquired the brand of a standalone “bing sutt” named Man Wah Bing Teng (文華冰廳) which was subsequently rebranded as Men Wah Bing Teng (敏華冰廳)

    Open the First Franchised “Tai Hing” Restaurant

    Entered into the first of the Hong Kong Airport Tai Hing Franchise Agreements with our Tai Hing Franchise Partner and opened a “Tai Hing” restaurant in Hong Kong International Airport

    Open the First “TeaWood” Brand in Mainland China

    Opened the first restaurant under the “TeaWood” brand in Mainland China



  • 2013

    Obtain ISO22000 accreditation

    The siu mei production unit of the Group’s Hong Kong Food Factory obtained ISO22000 accreditation

    Opened the first restaurant under the “TeaWood” brand in Mongkok, Hong Kong

    International Recognition of Our Brand

    Acquired the restaurant under the “Trusty Congee King” brand from an Independent Third Party
