To foster a diverse and inclusive culture in the workplace and F&B service sector, bridge the gap between hearing-impaired and hearing individuals, and advocate for barrier-free, equal communication based on mutual respect and understanding, the Group partnered with the Hong Kong Society for the Deaf in April to offer two basic inclusive sign language classes for colleagues.
Through these courses, participants can learn simple sign language that can be applied in daily branch operations and customer service. An introduction to hearing-impaired culture and communication etiquette was included, as well as sign language instruction for greetings and everyday conversations by professional sign language instructors, and the industry-specific vocabulary with ordering scenarios, showcasing the "warmest side of Tai Hing services." The classes received enthusiastic participation and support from top management and colleagues across various brands.
